Privacy, in plain language

The short version

Your quote figures are processed in your browser and are never sent anywhere by default. Uploaded PDFs and screenshots are processed in memory and discarded — we do not store your documents. The only personal details we ever hold are the ones you type into the negotiation-brief form, with your explicit consent.

What we collect

Quote analysis: all calculations run client-side in your browser. When an audit completes we store an anonymised aggregate (effective rate, term, amount financed band, deal score, anomaly codes) in a market benchmark pool. It contains no names, emails, employers, vehicles or any identifier — and it cannot be traced back to you.

File uploads: PDFs you import are streamed to memory, text is extracted, and the file is immediately discarded. Screenshots and photos of quotes are even safer: they are read by OCR entirely inside your browser and never leave your device. Nothing is written to disk or storage.

Negotiation briefs: if you request one, we store your name, email and a summary of your quote (rates and savings figures) in a private, access-controlled store so we can contact you. We never share it with lease providers without your say-so, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics (privacy-friendly, cookieless) and, once configured, Google Analytics 4 in analytics-only mode. These record page views and product events such as 'an audit completed' — never the contents of your quote, and never your contact details. GA4 anonymises IP addresses by default.

What we never do

We do not sell or share personal information. We do not send your details to novated lease providers as leads. We do not run advertising or remarketing trackers. We do not store your quote documents.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold (which is, at most, your brief-request contact details). Email us and we'll action it within 30 days.

Data storage

Aggregates and brief requests are stored in a private Vercel Blob store hosted in Sydney (ap-southeast-2). Local development uses local files only. No data is transferred to lease providers or advertisers.
