How QuoteClear makes money

Every other novated lease website makes money when you sign a lease. We think that's the problem. Here is exactly how we earn — and how we don't.

What we never do

  • No lender commissions. Lease providers typically receive upfront commissions and trail payments from financiers — baked into your repayments and almost never disclosed in dollar terms. We take none of it.
  • No lead sales. Most “comparison” tools are lead funnels: your details are sold to the provider who pays the most. Your data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly ask for a negotiation brief.
  • No sponsored rankings. Our deal score is a formula, published in full on the methodology page. Nobody can pay to improve it.

The success fee (our only product)

The audit, the benchmarks, the negotiation brief — free, always. If you'd rather not negotiate yourself, we'll do it for you on a simple contingency basis:

  • You pay 25% of verified first-year savings — the difference between your original quote and the better written offer we secure, checked line by line.
  • No saving, no fee. If we can't beat your quote in writing, you pay nothing and keep the brief.
  • Capped at $600. Big savings shouldn't mean a big invoice.
  • Paid only after you accept. The fee is invoiced when you sign the better deal — never before.
Worked example. Your quote implies a 12.9% effective rate. We negotiate it to 9.4%, saving $1,650 in year one. Our fee is $412.50. You keep $1,237.50 of year-one savings and every dollar after that.

Why this works

Providers negotiate against individuals all day — they know the floor and you don't. We see every quote that comes through the audit tool, so we know exactly where the market clears. When our only income is a share of what we save you, the incentive finally points in your direction.

Start with a free audit on the analyze page — the negotiation brief is generated from your numbers, not a template.
